Room 5 minute Walk to Waterloo

I booked this place for my first time visiting London and so glad I did. The kitchen really helps save money as eating out is so expensive! It has an oven, kettle, microwave, fridge, washing machine and sink, and comes with all cutlery, plates and utensils you need.Sharing the bathroom and toilet with the other guests was no issue. It was always clean and I never had to wait. There is a lovely strip of shops one street over with cafes, a supermarket and is filled with dinning options. Super close to the train station and a very easy walk to Big Ben and surrounds. The black out blinds really help with the summertime hours as well. Super easy check in process and the host was very communicative. It has a fan (no aircon) but that was all I needed, even though there was apparently a heat wave.

Nice room

A good location, clean and comfy but bring all essentials with you. Positive: Great location, tucked away, everything new and clean, felt quite safe Negative: Instructions on ringing the front door confused me, it had been a long day. No bedside light/table to charge phone and turn off really bright room lights without getting out of bed. A bit noisy from other occupants, sound insulation minimal. Not so much as soap or a teabag provided, given quite expensive I was unprepared.
