This property was probably the worst I have stayed in. The Expedia and Vrbo listing did not state that the bathroom was in a shared space. When asking the host, it was pretty much along the lines of “well we never explicitly said it WASNT a shared one.” while the listing included originally a photo of the bathroom, implying it was just for guests. I had asked the host if there was a room with a private bathroom and she responded that she would look but never got back to me. The bathroom is up 6 sets of stairs and the closest bathroom was outside. The walls had dark markings and were dirty, the mirror was dirty. I have stayed in hostels much cleaner. Never got email confirmation and had to reach out to Expedia for info/didn’t respond via Expedia. Location was good and bed was comfortable, except the place was a furnace and at least 10 degrees warmer inside than outside.

VRBO says you get the whole place, and that is NOT what this is.It is a room in a rooming house, with a toilet room in the courtyard and the single indoor bathroom up four flights of stairs that will be shared with the other 6 rooms in the building. We only stayed a few hours before disputing with VRBO and being moved, and will be charging back.

Walls of the suite were stained, as well as the False listing "Full house, youll share with only the members of your party" is a lie, its essentially a hostel. you get 1 room and you share the house with 7 strangers.. 1 bathroom, and 1 outhouse.. not a problem but... dont lie!

Fine for a few nights if you are expecting shared accommodation Positive: Great location and comfy bed for a couple of nights. The owner granted my refund request for the nights I didn't use (as I decided to change accommodation after realising the error) which I appreciated. They were unaware of the listing being misrepresentative and it was clear on their airbnb listing so I think it was a mistake and was pleased they agreed to recitfy it. Negative: Unfortunately the initial description for this place made it appear as though I was booking a whole apartment instead of a tiny room with a shared bathroom between many other rooms. I was not the only one who got caught by this. Also I was charged a higher rate for my room per night than my neighbours despite being a room half the size. I asked for my rate to be matched and this request was denied. The owner also initially said booking would not allow them to backdate the refund date, but booking denied this claim. I'm not sure who was right but I did get my money back for all nights I didn't stay so I felt the accommodation was adequate. I hope the listing has been updated to make it clear it is shared accommodation though.
