London Clapham Common Room

Great location. Happy to return. You just need to be comfortable to share common bathrooms with other guests. Positive: I loved the location. Very close to tubes and local shops, clubs, bars, etc. I liked the size of the room. It was handy to have a fridge and micro wave, heater and wardrobe to hang your clothes up. Cleaners always there ensuring the place is looked after. Negative: For this property, you will need to share bathrooms with 6 guests. There are 3 shared bathroom doors in total. 1 door has a toilet and shower (largest of the 3), 1 door only has a toilet and the 3rd door just has a shower only. Unfortunately, one shower stopped working. This meant 6 guests had to be essentially share 1 shower. This can be rather difficult when you don’t know the guests and have to time in correctly. You also only get 2 drinking mugs in the room. It would have been helpful to perhaps be given a plate, bowl, and some cutlery to use.

convienint location for doing the London to Brighton cycle ride Positive: Ideal spot if you are taking part in the London to Brighton cycle ride! You couldn't ask for a better location, right opposite the start line. The staff were fantastic, providing clear access details in advance. There were plenty of great facilities, and I had no issues bringing my bike upstairs to store securely in my room. Everything went smoothly. Negative: Great facilities overall! The room included a microwave and mugs, though just a minor heads-up that there was no cutlery or spoons. It’s a very minor point, but worth noting for future guests.
